Leroy Pierce, age 83 of McQuady, KY passed away April 19, 2026, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Glen Dean, KY on March 7, 1943, son of the late Larry Arvil and Hallie Dee Phillips Pierce. Leroy was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He was a talented carpenter, who enjoyed woodworking, especially making furniture. He was one of the “Hardee Boys”, a group of men who met on a regular basis at Hardee’s Restaurant. They made lifelong friendships, discussed their families, their work and tried to solve the world’s problems. He was a devoted husband and father.
Leroy is survived by Minnie, his wife of 61 years.

Sister: Reba Jean Hale of Indiana
Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 12 PM with burial in the McQuady Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 AM on Wednesday.
