Quentin Lamar Coleman, age 41, of Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly in Fort Myers, Florida, on April 19, 2026. Born on August 27, 1984, in Owensboro, Kentucky, Quentin was a beloved son, father, brother, and uncle whose life, though short, touched many and will be remembered with love by all who knew him. He had a deep passion for sports, took pride in his work as an electrician, and especially enjoyed basketball—both supporting his brother and refereeing games.
Quentin was preceded in death by his father Marshall Quentin Coleman.
Survived by his children, Jocelyn and Lamar Coleman, mother, Faith Aileen and her husband Walter Nimitz – Coleman of Sandstone, Minnesota; his older sister, Rae Vonne Coleman of Bethesda, Maryland; her sons, Marcus and Naquan of Minneapolis, Minnesota, his oldest brother, Marshall and his wife Uricka Coleman of Owensboro, Kentucky and their daughter, Dayjuan; his younger brother, Eric and Alyssa Coleman and his son Eric Jr. and daughter Sophia, his uncle Perry and Dawn Jones from Minnesota their children Tammy, Perry Tiffany and Jason from Minnesota Uncle Micheal Jones his daughter Carmicheal his uncle Fred Jones and his daughter Emma and his son James a host of cousins and extended family with whom he shared a tight kinship: Dan, Tyron Valdeze, Vallerina ,Nick, Kris, Salena, Brooklynn, Erica, BreeHonna. Jamison, Vivian ,Joyce,Tarah, Chudney, Chase, Tamir, Savannah, Coluor Bryson Tyrler, Rosland Nicole, Shereda close friends who were like family and loved ones who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
Quentin’s presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on through those who loved him.
