Barbara Suezann Martin Payne, 68 of Bolton, Vermont passed away at her home on April 3, 2026. She was born on July 9, 1957 in Highland Park, Michigan to the late Joann Cave Hampton and the late Gerald Crane.
Barbara was a loving mother and friend to many. She was a hairdresser for many years, then later became a traveling nurse. She had a giving heart, would help anyone, and was loved by all she met.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Jamie T. Payne and her daughter, Sarah Joann Payne.
Barbara is survived by her siblings, Glen (Susan)Brierley and Betty Leonard; and aunts and uncles Jeannetta Mayfield, Alma Mattingly, Donnie (Pam) Cave and Sharon Cisneros; her in-laws, Cletus G. (Donna) Payne, Phillip (Susan) Payne, Jeff Payne, Butch (Joy) Payne, Perry (Lisa) Payne, Terri Ann (Paul) McLaughlin, Mary Jane (Fred) Peace, and Monica (Terry) Alexander and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 7th, at 10 a.m. at St. Williams Catholic Church with burial following at St. Williams Cemetery.
