Mike Armes, age 70 of Hardinsburg, KY, passed away May 6, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin. He was born in Louisville, KY on June 10, 1955, son of the late Josephine Henderson Armes and Mitchell Armes, Sr.. Mike attended Westview Methodist Church as a young boy. He retired from U B Klem and enjoyed fishing, gardening – especially planting fruit trees and watermelons. He grew up with 4 sisters whom he loved dearly – all being his favorite.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents Heber and Lorena Drane Armes, Joseph and Nannie Savage Henderson, half sister Joann Carpenter and step brother and sisters Timmy Fentress, Judy Tabeling and Susie Stinnett.
Mike is survived by his stepmother Ollie Armes of Harned, KY
4 sisters: Linda Butler (John Dailey) and Susie Harper (Ronnie) of Harned, KY; Carolyn Butler and Lorraine Bickett of Hardinsburg, KY.
Stepbrother: David Ramsey (Sandy) of Louisville, KY
Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 2 PM with burial in the Kingswood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:30 AM on Saturday. All times are central.
