Wanda “Bobbie” Lucas, age 80 of SeRee, KY, passed away May 11, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Breckinridge County, KY on September 13, 1945, daughter of the late James “Cotton” and Lora Ellen Basham Lucas. Bobbie was a former employee of Eleanor Beard and Galante Studios. She was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting and watching hummingbirds in her yard. She was a fan of anything Aigner – purses, shoes, jackets and all the accessories. She loved going to the salon to have her hair styled and nails polished. Her greatest joy was time spent with her children and their families. She and her late husband attended Emmanuel Fellowship Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Lucas, her daughter Carnell Mason and brothers James Earl Kennedy and Roger Kennedy.
Bobbie is survived by 3 children: JoAnn Lucas of SeRee, KY, Mike Lucas (Tracy) of SeRee, KY and Barry Lucas (Lisa) of Sample, KY
son-in-law: Sonny Mason of SeRee, KY
5 grandchildren: Jennifer Masterson, Jessica Hazelwood (Elliot), Ashley Lucas, Tyler Lucas (Emma) and Dustin Lucas
10 great grandchildren: Haley Jo, Noah, Eric, Quincy, Kennedy, Khloe, Peyton, Brooklyn, Levi and Lainey
3 brothers: Ricky Kennedy (Lara) of Mauckport, IN; Danny Kennedy (Kelli) of Brandenburg, KY and Charles Kennedy (Rita) of Westview, KY
Many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 1 PM with burial in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 4- 8 PM and Friday after 8:30 AM. All times are central.
