Patricia Jean Richards, 73, of Owensboro, KY, passed away on May 12, 2026. She was born on August 26, 1952, to the late Hubert and Mary (Freels) Board.
Patricia enjoyed the simple things in life, especially listening to country music, country dancing, and soaking up the sunshine while sunbathing.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Hodges; three sisters, Brenda Crowe, Kathy Sowders, and Judy Clements; and two brothers, Joseph and Tommy Board.
Those left to cherish Patricia’s memory include her son, Donnie (Stacy) Richards; grandchildren, Cole Richards and Kristen (Jordan) McCormick of Hawesville, KY; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Jett, and Jackson; sister, Margie Cook; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
