Janet Darlene Kidd, 66, of Owensboro, passed away on July 20, 2018. She was born August 9, 1951 to the late Raymond and Lola Barnett Troxell. Janet was a member of Goel Chapter #104 of The Order of the Eastern Star. Family was very important to Janet and she loved spending time with her grandchildren as well as time shopping and crafting. Janet had many canine companions over the years and to her they were family; behind she leaves two pups, Abbey and Piper.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers.
Survivors include her loving husband of 49 years, David Kidd; children, Susan Kidd Rushing (John) and James David “Jimmy” Kidd; granddaughters, Scarlet Josephine Kidd, Amanda Lee Adkisson (Gary), Hannah Marie Davis (Corey Crockett); great-granddaughter, Avery Marie Crockett; brother-in-law, Scott Kidd (Jennifer); sisters, June Clark and Joyce Fuller, and a large loving extended family full of many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The memorial service for Janet will take place 2 pm Tuesday, July 24th, 2018 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be 9 am until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
