Gary Ray Clark, 71, of Owensboro, died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born October 13, 1954 in Daviess County to the late Durward James “D.J.” Clark and Margaret Clark. Gary was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church. He graduated from Owensboro Catholic High School in 1972. Gary was a retired driver for Field Packing Company and Estes Express Lines.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Laurie Ann Clark Wiiliams.
He is survived by his daughter, Tracey Clark; brother, David Clark; sisters, Linda Wells and Debbie Hudgins; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Precious Blood Catholic Church. Visitation is from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory and from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday at Precious Blood Catholic Church. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at Rosehill Cemetery.
