Billy Hudson 95, of Calhoun, Kentucky passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Billy Harold Hudson was born April 15, 1931 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late William Hayden and Anna Bell Humphrey Hudson and was married to the former Betty Marie Hill in March of 1957.
Billy was a 1949 Graduate of the former Calhoun High School, a lifelong farmer, and a member of Calhoun Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, and an avid outdoorsman, enjoying both hunting and fishing. Billy also loved softball, playing the game until he was well in his 60’s.
In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Hudson; and three sisters, Wilma Hudson, Maxine Davis, and Elizabeth Searcy.
Billy is survived by his wife of 69 years, Betty Hudson; three sons, Noel Hudson (Teresa) of Lawrenceburg, Mike Hudson (Kathy) of Calhoun, and Andy Hudson (Christina) of Livermore; seven grandchildren, Brent Hudson (Lauren), Blake Hudson (Jessica), Kelly Neal (Willie), Ashley Ebelhar (Matt), Ross Hudson, Hallie Hudson, and Emma Hudson; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry Hudson of Calhoun; and a sister, Carolyn Eaton of Reo, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel. Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County with Military Honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post #5415. Friends may visit with Billy’s family from 11:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Musters in Calhoun.
