Keegan Bartlett, 19, passed away June 5, 2026. He was born May 31, 2007, to Molly Chance and Randy Bartlett, Jr. A graduate of Daviess County High School, Keegan was a mentor and peer tutor. While in high school, Keegan worked at Hobby Lobby and recently, began his career at Cleveland Cliffs. He had a smile that lit up a room. He was a country boy at heart, enjoyed being outdoors as well as fishing with Mamaw and Papaw. Keegan was a hunter, a fan of LSU and the Carolina Panthers, but loved to spend time with his family. From barbeques and bonfires, to winning cornhole tournaments against his uncles, Keegan always brought laughter and love to all he encountered. He learned to smoke meat with his dad, and may have taught him a few things, but at heart, was a true “Mama’s Boy.” He was great with kids, responsible, determined, and if you met him, you were his friend for life.
Keegan was preceded in death by his aunt, Bridget Rose Ebelhar and uncle, Ted G. Ebelhar; great-uncles, Deno Harrison and William Harrison; great-aunt, Roseanne Bartlett and grandfather, Richard Chance.
He is survived by his parents, Molly (Paul) Chance and Randy Bartlett, Jr.; siblings, Logan Damme, Joshua Chance, Tanner Damme, Madison Chance and Rilee Chance; grandparents, John and Mary Ann Ebelhar, Teresa and Orville Jackson, Randy Bartlett, Sr., and Amy Bell; nephew, Langston Chance, a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins, and favorite companion, his dog, Chevy.
The funeral service will be 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. A private burial will take place at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
