Zachary Wayne “Blair” Cotton, 39, passed away December 16, 2024. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky April 24, 1985, to Karen E. Blair Cotton.
Zachary graduated from Valley High School in Louisville. He spent most of his childhood playing baseball and football where he excelled. He loved music and will always remember that crooked grin on that little blond headed boy singing “Achy Breaky Heart”. His passion was cooking; he started cooking at a young age. Even he was amazed at how good of a cook he was.
He leaves behind a son, his pride and joy “Little Zack”; sister, Brittany Michelle, who he loved dearly, and wanted to paint the world rosy; aunts, Charlene Briggs and Deborah Blair (Gary) and uncle, Kelly G. (Sheryle) Blair; cousins, Richard, Adam, Andy Sanders and Devin Blair.
His mother, Karen E Blair Cotton, has passed away since Zach. He was also preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Mary Frances Blair and his grandfather Earl G. Blair.
His memory will always remain in our hearths and now God has taken his pain and given him the peace he searched for, placed him in his hands where he will be safe and free.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM CST Friday, June 12, 2026, at Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Kentucky.
