Jane Drane, age 85 of Hardinsburg, KY, passed away June 17, 2026, at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Breckinridge County, KY on June 5, 1941, daughter of the late Leonard and Pauline Board Compton. Jane was a member of Fairview Global Methodist Church. She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, watching TV – especially game shows and soap operas. She loved the outdoors – raising a garden and beautiful flowers. Jan loved her family and time spent with them.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Tommy Drane, and siblings Leonard Compton, Jr., Billy Compton and Betty Lou Compton.
Jane is survived by 3 children: Rusty Drane (Bertha), Jimmy Drane and Anna Jones.

In keeping with the wishes of Jane, the family has chosen cremation with no services.
