GREENVILLE – Ollie James Daugherty, Jr., 79, of Greenville, died Sunday, June 28, 2026 at the Heartford House in Owensboro, KY. Ollie was born in Providence, KY on December 14, 1946. While living in Providence, he enjoyed racing cars, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, animals, and sharing the Good News of God’s Kingdom. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Ollie was preceded in death by parents, Ollie James Daugherty, Sr. and Mamie Daugherty; and siblings, Patricia, Judy, David, James, Gus, Richard, Tona, and Nellie; and other family members.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny Daugherty; his children, James (Betty) Daugherty, Stephanie (Damon) Hood, Jennifer (Darrell) Moorman, Travis Daugherty, Andrew Daugherty, Nathan Daugherty, Brendan Daugherty, and Kassie Loney. He also had grandchildren, Christian Daugherty, Emily Daugherty, and Hannah Putnam; and great-grandchildren, Rhett and Mila Hardin.
