Jeff Roberts, 63, of Owensboro, KY, passed away after a two-year battle with cancer on Friday, July 10, 2026 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born on December 5, 1962 in Owensboro to Bessie Roberts and the late Earl Roberts. Jeff was the owner of Roberts Building and Remodeling. He was a brilliant craftsman whose skills in woodworking were second to no-one. Many loved ones will continue to enjoy his legacy through the homes and custom entertainment he built. He was a collector of many things. Most prominent were his restored pinball machines and his guitar pick collection from all of the concerts he attended with his wife and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Cyndi Roberts; mother, Bessie Roberts; son, Brian Roberts (Jessica Clark); two daughters, Jamie Roberts and Kristin Hagan (John Johnson); grandchildren, Braxton Roberts, Kolby Hagan, Andrew Johnson, Nolan Roberts, Kendall Hagan and Grayson Roberts; sister, Vicki Hall; sister-in-law, Patty Hayden (Rodney); three nieces, Ashley Boyce (Sean), Brittany Nicholas (Joel) and Tabitha Hayden; and his fur baby, Lacey.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow the service in Yellow Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday and again from 9:00am until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
