CENTRAL CITY- Diane Devine, 86, of Central City died Saturday, July 11, 2026 at her residence. Ms. Devine was born in Hammond, IN, on December 13, 1939. She loved teaching Sunday school, reading Christian mysteries, working jigsaw puzzles, going to new places, loving people, and sharing Jesus. Ms. Devine was a former bus driver, seamstress, owner of Country Book and Bible, a housewife and a mother. She was a member of Greenville First of Assembly of God. Ms. Devine is preceded in death by her husband, William Forest Devine; son, Dale Devine; father, Victor Krause; mother, Ella Vogt; brothers, Mel Krause and Don Krause.
Survivors include her sons, Mike and Kevin; daughter, Lori; five grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 1:00 PM at First Assembly of God Church in Greenville with Rev. Ed Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2026 beginning at 11:00 AM at the church.
