Pamela S. Parr Iovine, 70, of Owensboro, went peacefully to be with her Lord, on July 15, 2026 in the care of Hospice at the Owensboro Regional Hospital, surrounded by her daughter, Rebecca, her sister, Judi and best friend, Kathy.
Pam was born June 13, 1956, to Clifford J. Parr and Betty S. Hutchason Parr in Owensboro, Kentucky. Pam, who is affectionately called “Susie” by her siblings, and “Nana” by her grandchildren, was a caring and loving person with a big laugh. She was a graduate of Apollo High School’s Charter Class of 1974. Pam was six feet tall and a member of “The Tall Club” in her earlier years. She worked for Lincoln Services, US Bank, and retired from US Bank Mortgage, and a member of Owensboro Christian Church.
Pam is survived by her loving daughter, Rebecca A. Brown, and her beloved grandchildren, who were her world: Carmynn, Jaxton, and Mathew, all of Owensboro; sisters: Judith West (Kevin), Debra Shoulders (Steve), Karen Parr, of Owensboro, a brother, Tim Parr (Patti), of Fairview, North Carolina. Nephew, Andrew West of Owensboro, niece, Amanda West-Reade of Carmel California, and nephew, Nathan Parr of Fairview North Carolina, along with a great niece and great nephew. Pam cherished her many friends who lived all across the United States and stayed in contact with all of them.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at James H. Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00pm until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
