Gary “Andy” Henderson, 58, of Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2026, surrounded by his family. Andy was born in Owensboro, Kentucky, on June 30, 1968, to Gary and Lynda (Higdon) Henderson.
Andy attended St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Owensboro Catholic High School and graduated from Apollo High School. He enjoyed working for Rural King in Owensboro. Andy was an amazing husband and father and he and his wife attended Pellville Baptist Church later in life.
Andy had a servant’s heart and always made sure everyone was taken care of. He never hesitated to step in whenever someone needed help. He loved sharing cookouts and fish fries with family and friends. Andy also enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, grilling, old cars, drones, photography, and target practice.
He was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Krystyn Randolph; paternal grandparents, Norman and Dorthy Henderson; maternal grandparents, Tommy and Dodie Higdon; aunt, Joyce Henderson; and uncle, Doug Higdon.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 15 years, Audrie (Buckman) Henderson; his son, Michael Randolph; siblings, Tiffany Dixon and Gavin (Ruth) Henderson; nieces, Amelia Henderson, Addy Henderson, Danielle Dixon, and Marissa Durbin; and nephews, Tyler (Millie) Henderson, Timmy Henderson, Nathan Dixon, Tristan (Kayla) Durbin, Austen Durbin, and Bryce Durbin.
Services will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory, with Benny Phelps officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
