Mike Thompson, 62, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on July 15, 1956 in North Carolina to Francis Glover Thompson and Anna Joyce Dant Thompson. Mike was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and the Eagles, and enjoyed cooking, fishing, and refinishing furniture.
Along with his father, Mike was preceded in death by his brothers Joseph and David Thompson, and his great-granddaughter Miabella Grace.
Mike is survived by his mother Anna Joyce Dant Thompson, his 3 sons Justin Wade Thompson of Curdsville, Kentucky, David Joseph Thompson of Sorgho, Kentucky and Matthew Austin Thompson of Radcliff, Kentucky; and his 2 daughters Michelle Marie (Jason) Morris of Owensboro, Kentucky and Patricia Lynn (Patrick) Durham of Calhoun, Kentucky; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Danny (Connie) Thompson of Owensboro, Kentucky.
Services will be 11:00 am Monday, July 23, 2018 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, with Father Anthoni Ottagon officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Monday at the Church.
