Patricia Ann O’Bryan, 79, of Owensboro, passed away August 14, 2018 while in the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Patricia was born August 24, 1938 in Owensboro to the late Thomas and Mabel Morton. Patricia was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Owensboro and a Secretary Treasurer for O’Bryan Farm Service. She enjoyed gardening, swimming and scrapbooking. Patricia was a former member of the Women’s Lions Club, Daviess County Homemaker and Red Hat Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James O’Bryan; sister, Becky Riney and brother, Billy Morton and brother-in-law Tom O’Bryan.
Patricia is survived by her children, Karen Cecil (Craig), James L. “Bo” O’Bryan (Bonnie), Amy Owen (Kelly), Jean Nelson (Cully), June Travers (Don), Michael Shane O’Bryan, and Jennifer Phillips (David); grandchildren, Mandy Boswell, Natalie Cecil, Emily Cecil, Cody Cecil, Kelly Owen, Jr., Elizabeth Caudill, Cully Nelson II, Tyler Nelson, Katie Frazier, Haley Frye, Jacob Head, Jeremy Head, Cassie Head, Molly O’Bryan and Maryssa Phillips; a host of great-grandchildren; brothers, Thomas Morton, Jr., Mike Morton, Phillip Morton, David Morton and sister, Nancy Logsden and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2018 at St. Peter Cemetery in Stanley.
