Billie Heppler Hale, 85, of Owensboro, passed away August 16, 2018. Billie was born in Reed, KY on August 31, 1932 to the late George Dawson and Vera Pauline Willingham Heppler. She retired from Miles Farm Supply and attended Panther Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of forty years, Robert “Bob” M. Hale; brothers, Leonard Allen Heppler, George Curtis Heppler, and Paul Arnold Heppler; and a sister, Regina Heppler Reynolds.
She is survived by a sister, Nancy Heppler Miles; nephews, Larry Allen Heppler (Marcella), Mark Heppler (Carol), Byron Heppler, Sterett Miles (Dianne), Paul Miles, and Neil Heppler (Susan); nieces, Carolyn Kurz (Jim), Bettye Cain (Darry), Connie Wethington (Ron), Kathy Kolter, Laura O’Bryan, Debra Seymore (Steve), Suzanne Miles, Susan Bailey (David), and Sara Duckworth (William); and many loving Great and Great-Great nieces and nephews.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the donor’s choice or Panther Creek Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be 3 pm Sunday, August 19, 2018, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Brother Eddie Duke officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 until 3 pm. Entombment will take place at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
