Bill Roberts passed in peace surrounded by his adoring family Sunday, October 11, 2020 at the age of 66. Husband and lifelong friend to wife Beverly. Devoted father of three daughters Talya Bullock (Matt), Mandy Mayfield (Jason) and Amber Roberts. Loving grandfather to Reece Mayfield, Abby and Evan Bullock. Further survived by sister Linda Warren (Jim) and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was the owner of a successful welding business for decades. He was known as ‘Goat’ to those who knew him best and he truly was the Greatest of All Time. He was a friend to all and never met a stranger. He was often described as everyone’s favorite person. He was a creative storyteller and would always keep those around him laughing.
As a proud grandfather, he treasured trips and quality time with the family above everything else. The laughing and joking were never ending when he was present, especially while playing family board games.
Some other interests included target shooting and UK Basketball. Animals were very important to him and he had many grand dogs that adored him. He enjoyed cooking and loved creating and building with his hands. He admired nature and enjoyed being outdoors.
All donations in Bill’s honor can go toward St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or your local animal humane society.
