George Elmer Rogers, 49, of Owensboro died on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at his home. He was born on August 31, 1968 in Terre Haute, Indiana. George enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley, karaoke and most of all spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Betty Vance Rogers; children, Chasity Lynn Butler (Justin), Cody Swinefurth, Aysha Imran, Waqas Imran, Jade Rogers, La’Nayia Rogers and Ulyana Soleil Skye Rogers; his mother and stepfather, Margaret Ann Price Petty and Joseph Petty; siblings, Gary Lee Rogers II (Lori), Lisa Childers (Brent), Tonya Camron and Garrett Rogers (Tayrn); his father, Gary Lee Rogers, Sr.; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory with military honors. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
