Marcus “Mark” Ray Payne, Sr., 57 of Maceo passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born July 19, 1961 to the late Francis Edward and Clementine Payne. Mark enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and playing pool. He was a great back yard mechanic. Mark also enjoyed watching Nascar, UK basketball, and the Super Bowl. However, what he loved the most was spending time with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Francis Edward Payne, Jr.; his sister, Debra Joe Payne
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Sandra Payne of Maceo; his son, Marcus Ray Payne, Jr. (Misty) of Owenboro; his daughters, Amie Lambert (John) and April Payne; granddaughter, Isabelle Long of Owensboro; his sisters, Jackie Payne and Frankie Vanover (Rick) of Owenboro; his 13 grandchildren and his 9 great grandchildren.
The service will be 6 PM Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. The visitation will be 10AM until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
