Annetta Faye Martin Kirk

February 25, 1939 - September 6, 2018

Annetta Faye Martin Kirk, 79, of Owensboro passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 with her family at her side and under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Faye was born in South Hill, Kentucky on February 25, 1939 to the late Ervin Estil “Boss” Webster and Lucille Tomes Webster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Ray Martin, after 25 years of marriage, her second husband, Thomas Eugene Kirk, after 3 years of marriage, and an infant grandson, William Lee Murphy. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Fraternal Order of eagles for over 40 years.

Survivors include her three daughters, Karen Martin McPeak, Julie Ann Martin, and Debra Faye (Jimmy) Simmons, all of Owensboro; five grandchildren, Crystal (Michael) Gibson of Munfordville, Ginger (Scotty) Brooks of Cub Run, Michael Martin Murphy of Garland, Texas, Jamie (Ethan) Fulkerson of Owensboro, Traci Lynn Renfrow of Owensboro; five great-grandchildren, McKay Carter, Aaliyah Curry, Blake Haynes, Cali Brooks and Saige Fulkerson.

A special thank you is given to Faye’s longtime and best friend, Rita Moseley, and her Hospice Team of Natalie, Amy, and Mary.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Webster Cemetery in South Hill, Kentucky. James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Elvis Presley held a special place in Faye’s heart. The song she loved the most and that best fit Faye was, I Did It My Way.
