Judith Ellen "Judi" Hill

January 7, 1947 - September 13, 2018

Judith Ellen “Judi” Hill of Utica passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 in the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky.  Judi was born January 7, 1947 at Mammaw and Pappaw Gray’s home in Livermore.  She was lovingly known as “Aunt Doo” and “The General”.  She enjoyed the company of her beloved dogs; Rita, Narnee, Lanie, Prissy and Bella; and enjoyed sewing, dancing, yard sales, and spending time with family and friends.  Judi was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Sean Minnis and her parents Frank and Mary Jo Mackey.

Surviving are her husband, Rodney Barnes of Utica; a sister, Patricia Mackey of Utica; brothers, Steven (Renee) Mackey and Charlie (Debbie) Mackey both of Utica; two special sisters, Dianne (Jim) Pierce of Mt Juliet, TN and Rose Anne Osteen (John Caldwell) of Gravel Switch, KY; a niece, Lauren (Robbie) May of Utica; nephews, Josh (Elizabeth) Mackey, Greg Mackey, Daniel Pogue, Anthony (Sabrina) Greenlee, all of Utica;, and Matthew Greenlee of Cloverport; and several great nieces and nephews and many cousins whom she held close to her heart.

A memorial service will be held at the Mackey Farm at a later date.  There will be no public visitation or service.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky.
