David Joseph Brooks, 63, of Corydon passed away Friday, September 14, 2018, at the Lucy Smith King Care Center. Born July 27, 1955, in Henderson County, he was the son of the late Everett and Margaret Nadine McElroy Brooks. David loved working with cars and was a meticulous detailer.
Surviving are a son, Joshua Dixion of Henderson; a daughter, Angela Leigh Brooks of Louisville; a granddaughter; sisters, Sherry (Rick) Evans of Corydon and Elaine (Rick) Martin of Henderson; brothers, Larry Brooks and Steve Brooks of Henderson and Ronnie (Theresa) Brooks of Corydon; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A private service will be scheduled for a later date.
