James “Jimmy” Fenwick, 60, of Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away surrounded by family, on January 4, 2022. He was born February 21, 1961, in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late John Carden, Sr. and Helen Fenwick Carden. Jimmy worked for Greg’s Towing, was a member of Bridge Pointe Church, and loved racing.
Along with his parents, Jimmy is preceded in death by Marlene Hoyt, mother of his children; daughter, Star Elizabeth Fenwick; and sister, Marti Fenwick.
He is survived by his children, Tammy (Tim) Scalf and Dylan (Maggie) Fenwick; grandchildren, Blakely Fenwick, Tyler (Kiersten) Scalf, Courtney Scalf, Chase Scalf, and Kelsey Scalf; siblings, Gina (Darrell) Stallings, John Carden, Jr., Gayle Carden, and Lynn Carden; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. A funeral procession will take place in the form of Jimmy’s “last run” through town following visitation. Family encourages you to join by lining the streets with flashing lights and honking horns to show your love and support as he goes to his final resting place.
