Anna Margaret Sanders, 76, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born on March 10, 1942 in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late Robert E. Moseley and Margaret Laura Jesse Moseley. Anna, a member of Bellevue Baptist Church, retired from Super Valu in Greenville where she worked as a data processing director. Anna enjoyed making jewelry.
Along with her parents, Anna was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Ryan Sanders, and her daughter-in-law, Viola Mae Sanders.
Anna is survived by her husband of 61 years, Charles E. “Sandy” Sanders, Jr., and her son Charles Robert “Bob” Sanders, both of Owensboro; her grandchildren Mary Shannon (Noah) Simpson of Great Falls, Montana, and Zachary Cox of Owensboro.
Services will be 10:00 am Monday, September 24, 2018 at Bellevue Baptist Church, with Pastor Greg Faulls officiating. Burial to follow at Veterans’ Cemetery in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sunday at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory, and from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Bellevue Baptist Church.
