Faye Shelton, 75, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at her residence. She was born on January 26, 1943 in Owensboro to the late Fred S. and Jerri Crosdale Wahl. She worked as a volunteer in the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital gift shop and was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church. Faye was a good wife, momma and Christian lady who also enjoyed crafts.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Jerry “Shorty” Shelton; two daughters, Lori Poole (Bryan) and Kim Mayfield (Kevin); three grandchildren, Courtney Poole, Zach Mayfield (Bailey) and Kendra Poole; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Judy Miller and Jackie Kies.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Yellow Creek Baptist Church. James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
