It is atrocious to witness how our public school systems spend taxpayer funds. Take the latest, $9.1 million to renovate an office complex after it was purchased for some $5 million in taxpayer money. It is disgusting that this level of waste, malfeasance, and lack of any control or fiduciary limits is on display. Until our state legislature does something about it, this will continue. And it is all about the students. It really is hard to believe but it is so easy to spend other people’s money.
