Owensboro Police Department
• A theft was reported Thursday at a residence in the 2000 block of Prince Ave. A 2017 Hyundai Sonata, valued at $8,000, was stolen. The vehicle was recovered on the same day.
• A theft was reported Wednesday at a residence in the 1300 block of E 9th St. A Honda Moped/Scooter, valued at $1,100, was stolen.
• A fraud was reported Wednesday at a residence in the 700 block of Dixiana Dr. $4,000 was stolen from a bank account through theft by deception, including cold checks.
• A theft was reported Wednesday at a residence in the 500 block of Salem Dr. Various items, including fishing poles, heater, tools inside a toolbox, tire chain, camera, and electric trolling motor, were stolen. The total value of the stolen items is estimated at $400 for the fishing poles, $179 for the heater, and other items of unknown value.
