Reports

A third-degree burglary was reported Tuesday at the 3800 block of Kipling Drive. A Makita cordless drill and a power washer were reported stolen at an approximate value of $310.

A theft by unlawful taking or disposition of all others at $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Tuesday at the 3200 block of Jefferson Street. The incident occurred sometime between August 9-14. The victim reported $1,000 stolen in cash.

A theft by unlawful taking or disposition of an automobile of $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Wednesday at the 3300 block of Chickasaw Drive. A 50cc Motor Scooter was reported stolen at an approximate value of $1,200.

First-degree wanton endangerment was reported at the 2900 block of Meadowland Drive on Wednesday. The original incident occurred on July 31.

A second-degree burglary was reported at the 2200 block of Old Henderson Road on Wednesday. A Sony PlayStation 4 was reported stolen.

 

Traffic Reports

A collision occurred Wednesday at the corner of E. 9th Street and KY 2155–Triplett Street on Wednesday. Amber D. Phelps, 21, of the 6300 block of Karns Grove Drive and Roger E. Fuqua, 58, of the 5700 block of Old Hwy 54 were involved in the wreck. Fuqua and his passenger, Anna Fuqua, 41, of the 5700 block of Old Hwy 54 were both injured in the incident. They were taken to OHRH and treated for their injuries.

Daviess County Sheriff’s Office

Cameron S. Porter, 19, of the 800 block of Glenn Court was involved in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident at the 5700 block of Wayne Bridge Road at 4:43 p.m. on Wednesday. Porter was trying to avoid a rock in the road and was thrown from his vehicle. He was transported to OHRH and was treated for his injuries.

Shane T. Nitman, 33, of the 2000 block of West 1st Street was charged Wednesday with an indictment warrant for first-degree trafficking of a controlled substance (1st offense, meth), possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking in marijuana (less than 8 ounces, 1st offense), and receiving stolen property (firearm).
