A traffic accident occurred Tuesday in the 2700 block of Frederica St. at 5:57 p.m. Drivers in the accident included Shawna A. White, 22, of the 600 block of Orchard St. and Alex J. Hayden, 20, of the 8500 block of Richland Rd. White and her passenger, Hayley B. Brown, 26, of the 600 block of Orchard St. were injured in the accident and were taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital to be treated for injuries.
A single-vehicle car accident occurred Tuesday in the 2000 block of E. 4th St. at 3:19 p.m. Driver Larry D. Basham, 62, of the 2400 block of Trails Run Pte. was injured in the accident and was taken to OHRH for injuries.
In the 200 block of E. 23rd St. on Tuesday, a third-degree burglary was reported. A fishing pole and various tools were reported stolen at an estimated value of $1,025.
In the 2700 block of McFarland Ave. on Wednesday, a second-degree burglary was reported. A 50-inch LG smart TV was reported stolen at an estimated value of $1,350.
In the 200 block of E. 3rd St. on Wednesday, a third-degree burglary was reported. Various tools were reported stolen at an estimated value of $1,404.74.
In the 3500 block of Jefferson St. on Wednesday, a second-degree burglary, fourth-degree assault and second-degree unlawful imprisonment were reported. A bouquet of roses was reported as damaged.
In the 700 block of Colorado Dr. on Wednesday, a second-degree burglary was reported. Jewelry, precious metals and watches, etc. were reported stolen at an estimated value of $8,599.99.
