Owensboro Police Department

 

In the 400 block of E. 24th St. on Tuesday, a third-degree burglary was reported. A Dell laptop, two HP Proliant MLs and a 310 E Server were reported stolen at an estimated value of $6,150.

 

In the 1300 block of Booth Ave. on Tuesday, a second-degree terroristic threatening was reported.

 

In the 400 block of E. 18th St. on Wednesday, a third-degree burglary was reported. Hair clippers and loose change were reported stolen at an estimated value of $100.

 

In the 2100 block of Carpenter Dr. on Thursday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of all others $500 or more and under $10,00 was reported. A man’s gold ring with diamonds was reported stolen at an estimated value of $1,410.

 

In the 700 block of George St. on Thursday, a receiving stolen property under $10,000 was reported. A trailer was reported stolen.

 

In the 3600 block of Buckland Sq. on Thursday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition from a building $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. A soldering iron, socket set, a scope and a flex head ratchet were reported stolen at an estimated value of $805.

 

In the 2900 block of Highland Pointe Dr. on Thursday, a false statement for a prescription order receipt was reported to authorities.

 

In the 1000 block of Tamarack Rd. on Thursday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of all others $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. Items were reported stolen in the estimated amount of $1,200.

 

In the 2200 block of W. 2nd St. on Thursday, a third-degree burglary and first-degree criminal mischief were reported. A wooden window and an ATM were reported damaged at an estimated value of $1,685.

 

In the 3400 block of Frederica St. on Thursday, a first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument was reported. A counterfeit $100 bill was reported to authorities.

 

In the 800 block of W. 13th St. on Thursday, a third-degree criminal mischief was reported. Two pairs of Jordan-brand sneakers were reported damaged at an estimated value of $420.

 

Daviess County Sheriff’s Office

 

A traffic accident occurred Thursday at the 10000 block of US 231 at 3:16 p.m. Drivers in the accident were Almeda C. New, 84, of the 300 block of Silver Beach Rd. and Robert D. Towery, 44, of the 60 block of Maden Loop. New was injured in the wreck and was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.
