A traffic accident occurred Saturday at the corner of Frederica St. and Scherm Rd. at 9:57 p.m. Drivers in the accident were Roger Goodley, 27, of the 1200 block of E. 6th St. and Raymond R. Lowery, 36, of the 3600 block of Trafalgar Ct. Four of Lowery’s passengers were injured in the wreck, including Justin Lowery, 16, of the 3600 block of Trafalgar Ct., Asiah Ramirez, 15, of the 2100 block of Churchill St., Karley Stinnett, 15, of the 2000 block of Crestwood Dr. and Shelby Howard, 16, of the 1500 block of E. 20th St. All those injured were taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

 

In the 2000 block of Ghee Ave. on Saturday, a second-degree robbery was reported. Items were stolen at an estimated value of $40.

 

In the 1100 block of Burlew Blvd. on Saturday, a second-degree burglary was reported. Nothing was reported stolen.

 

In the 300 block of E. 22nd St. on Thursday, a second-degree burglary was reported. A ceiling fan was reported stolen at an estimated value of $368.

 

In the 3100 block of KY 54 on Thursday, a first-degree forgery and first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument were reported. An assortment of U.S. currency forged bills was reported to authorities.

 

In the 900 block of E. 18th St. on Friday, a third-degree burglary was reported. Hand tools and two buck knives were reported stolen at an estimated value of $3.

 

In the 1600 block of Sweeney St. on Friday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of all others $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. A pair of Champion pants and two Champion hoodies, among other various items, were reported stolen at an estimated value of $510.

 

In the 300 block of Hale Ave. on Friday, a first-degree assault was reported. The victim was stabbed with a long blade knife.

 

In the 1200 block of Hutch Ln. on Friday, a second-degree burglary was reported. Nothing was reported stolen.
