A theft by unlawful taking (theft of a controlled substance) under $10,000 was reported Thursday in the 3400 block of Daviess St. $200 in narcotics were reported stolen.
A second-degree assault was reported Friday in the 1300 block of E. 8th St. Nothing was reported stolen.
