A traffic accident injured on at the corner of College Dr. and S. Griffith Ave. on Friday at 7:25 p.m. Drivers Taylor N. Brames, 23, of the 500 block of E. 450 South and Dorothy G. Powers, 67, of the 3800 block of Garden Terrace were involved in the accident. Brames was injured and transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.

 

In the 3400 block of Old Hartford Rd. on Wednesday, a third-degree burglary was reported. Two marine boat batteries were reported stolen at a value of $370.

 

A theft by unlawful taking (theft of contents from inside a vehicle) $500 or more and under $10,000 and a theft by unlawful taking (firearm) were reported Thursday in the 200 block of Daviess St. A firearm and $600 cash were reported stolen at a value of $1,050.

 

In the 700 block of Devonshire Dr. on Thursday, a second-degree burglary was reported. A gold necklace and class ring were reported stolen at a value of $680.

 

A third-degree burglary was reported Thursday in the 400 block of Wesleyan Pl. A drill and wrench were reported stolen at a value of $350.

 

In the 1100 block of W. 2nd St. on Thursday, a theft by unlawful taking (theft of an automobile) $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported.

 

In the 2500 block of Ebach St. on Friday, a second-degree burglary was reported. A TV and laptop were reported stolen at a value of $870.

 

A first-degree sexual abuse (victim under 12 years of age) was reported Friday on Pearl St.

 

A first-degree wanton endangerment was reported Friday in the 1800 block of Southtown Blvd.
