A theft by unlawful taking (theft of an automobile) $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Saturday in the 100 block of Daviess St. A vehicle was reported stolen at a value of $2,500.
In the 200 block of Sycamore St. on Saturday, a second-degree arson was reported.
A traffic accident was reported Friday, injuring one person at the corner of Breckenridge St. and E. Parrish Ave. at 6:06 p.m. Vanetta N. Hicks, 87, of the 3000 block of Redford Dr. and Stephanie D. Drury, 48, of the 200 block of Front St. were driving in the accident. Drury was injured and taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.
