A single-vehicle traffic accident injured one person on Sunday in the 3700 block of New Hartford Rd. at 11:19 p.m. Driver Daniel L. Johnson, 45, of the 6500 block of Old Highway 54 was injured in the accident and taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.
In the 3200 block of Frederica St. on Tuesday, a theft by deception including cold checks under $10,000 was reported. $1,162.51 was reported stolen.
A theft by unlawful taking (theft of contents from inside a vehicle) $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Tuesday in the 3200 block of KY 54. A bank deposit bag belonging to a KFC restaurant was stolen from inside a vehicle. The contents stolen totaled $1,061.
In the 1700 block of Starlite Dr. on Tuesday, a theft by unlawful taking $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. A chain necklace was reported stolen at a value of $600.
