Michael S. Mays, 47, of the 1000 block of W. 7th St. was charged Wednesday with tampering with physical evidence, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth; 2nd offense) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Zachary Basham, 22, of the 1200 block of Nassau Ave. was charged Wednesday with trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Elizabeth D. Griffin, 37, of the 1100 block of Burlew Blvd. was charged Wednesday with public intoxication (controlled substance), possession of marijuana, third-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), possession of a legend drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
