A traffic accident injured one person on Friday at the corner of E. 25th St. and New Hartford Rd. at 4:29 p.m. Drivers Melissa A. Scott, 40, of the 2700 block of New Hartford Rd. and Betty Stowers, 44, of the 8300 block of S. Jones Rd. were involved in the accident. Stowers was injured and taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.
A third-degree burglary was reported Friday in the 2500 block of W. Parrish Ave. $1,505 in cash was reported stolen from inside a safe.
In the 2200 block of W. 10th St. on Friday, a first-degree wanton endangerment and third-degree criminal mischief were reported. 9 millimeter shotgun shells were found at the scene.
A theft by unlawful taking $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Friday in the 3400 block of Villa Pt. $750 in contents was reported stolen.
In the 2000 block of W. 2nd St. on Friday, a theft by unlawful taking (theft of contents from inside a vehicle) $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. Three semi batteries were reported stolen at a value of $567.
