A theft of a motor vehicle registration plate was reported Thursday in the 2600 block of Meridian Ct. 

 

At the corner of W. 5th St. and Jeff Pl. on Thursday, a second-degree assault was reported. 

 

A theft by unlawful taking (automobile) $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Thursday in the 4500 block of Frederica St. A vehicle was reported stolen at a value of $900. 

 

In the 700 block of Clay St. on Thursday, a second-degree burglary was reported. Keys were reported stolen at a value of $10. 

 

A third-degree burglary was reported Thursday in the 1100 block of Tamarack Rd. 

 

A traffic accident left one person injured on Wednesday at the corner of Salem Dr. and J.R. Miller Blvd. at 5:27 p.m. Drivers Bertha Y. Zapata, 41, of the 2900 block of Tanglewood Dr. and Brandy Boone, 42, of the 80 block of Woodford Ave. were involved. Boone was injured and taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.
