A single-vehicle collision occurred Thursday, August 2 at the corner of Veach Road and Dixiana Court at 10:43 a.m. Gage T. Long, 20, of the 2500 block of Veach Road was injured during the wreck and treated at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
A collision occurred Friday, August 3 at the corner of McFarland Avenue and Washington Avenue at 2:48 p.m. Oscar A. Ortiz, 18, of the 400 block of E. 7th Street was driving a car and Mark Griffith, 54, of the 1100 block of W. 3rd Street was driving a motorcycle involved in the wreck. Griffith was injured and treated at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for his injuries.
Courtney M. White, 26, of the 2000 block of Westview Drive was driving a car involved in a single-vehicle collision on Saturday, August 4 at 2:48 a.m. White was charged with a DUI and was taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
A collision occurred at the block of Old Hartford Road and Fairview Drive on Sunday, August 5 at 9:43 p.m. Sonalbahen R. Patel, 37, of Renton, WA was driving a car and Cassidy F. Casey, 19, of Hartford was driving a car involved in the wreck. Casey was injured and treated for minor injuries at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.

A theft by deception was reported on Friday, August 3 at Meijer, located at 2951 Heartlands Crossing Blvd. The approximate value stolen was $740 in cash.
A first-degree wanton endangerment was reported on Friday, August 3 at the 900 block of Oglesby Street. Damage was done to the residence by a reported gunshot. The incident originally occurred on July 15.
A first-degree rape and a third-degree rape were reported Saturday, August 4. Two juveniles reported being raped at a location on Frederica Street.
A third-degree criminal mischief and wanton endangerment were reported Saturday, August 4 at the 800 block of Poindexter Street. A gunshot caused damage to the residence.
A second-degree burglary was reported on Saturday, August 4 at the 1300 block of Venable Avenue. Nothing was reported taken.
A theft of mail was reported at the 400 block of East 7th Street on Saturday, August 4. A post office worker witnessed someone stealing a package being delivered and reported it. The individual was arrested and charged.
A second-degree burglary was reported Saturday, August 4 at the 1000 block of Penbrooke Avenue. The value stolen was approximately $120.
A theft by unlawful taking was reported Sunday, August 5 at the 2000 block of Ottowa Drive. The victim reported that a firearm was stolen at an approximate value of $150.

A collision occurred on Friday, August 3 at the 10600 block of Highway 662 at 4:07 p.m. Huston K. Miller, 70, of the 4700 block of Burstone Court was driving a truck while Jason M. Gerteisen, 38, of Maceo, KY was driving farm equipment involved in the wreck. Two passengers in Gerteisen’s vehicle were injured and treated for injuries at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
