An accident occurred on Tuesday at the corner of E. Parrish Avenue and Leitchfield Road at 12:41 p.m. Laura W. Madrid, 38, of the 2200 block of W. 10th Street and William Boone, 55, of the 4400 block of Cool Springs Cove were involved in the accident. Boone’s passenger, Jennifer M. Hamm, 43, of the 7300 block of Old Masonville Road was injured and treated at OHRH. Madrid was charged with driving under the influence.
A collision occurred at the 2900 block of KY 54 on Tuesday at 9:26 p.m. Edward M. Brown, 47, of the 900 block of Parkway Drive S. and Nelda L. Sizemore, 51, of the 900 block of E. 5th Street were involved in the accident. One of Sizemore’s passengers was injured. Lourie Duncan, 31, of the 10000 block of E. US Hwy was treated at OHRH for evaluation.
At the 4100 block of Mayflower Drive, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of farm equipment $10,000 or more and under $1,000,000 was reported. A John Deere 319D Skid Steer was reported stolen at an estimated value of $24,000.
At the 2500 block of Veach Road, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of a controlled substance under $10,000 was reported Tuesday. Hydrocodone was reported stolen at an approximate value of $1.
On Tuesday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of an automobile $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported at the 600 block of Leitchfield Road. A motor scooter was reported stolen at an estimated value of $749.
At the 100 block of Lafayette Drive on Tuesday, a theft by unlawful taking or disposition of contents from a vehicle $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. Assorted tools were reported stolen at an estimated value of $2,000.
A fourth-degree assault (minor injury) and a theft of a motor vehicle registration plate were reported at the 100 block of St. Ann Street on Tuesday. A Kentucky registration plate worth $20 was reported stolen.
