Boys golf — Trinity was scheduled to play, but the match was cancelled due to weather.

Girls soccer — Owensboro 2, Apollo 1
The Lady Devils (2-1) took down the E-Gals (1-3) in double overtime. Apollo scored first on a goal by Natalie Smith with the assist from Alyssa Lawrence. Owensboro’s first goal came from Abby Beck, assisted by Macey Cundiff, and regulation ended with a 1-1 score.

There were no goals in the first half of a sudden-death overtime, but the Lady Devils scored in the final minute on a corner kick. Alexis Westerfield crossed the ball and Jasmine Sturgeon headed it in for the win. Owensboro’s Aubrie Schueler had six saves in goal. For Apollo, Zoe Floyd had six saves in goal.

Boys soccer — Daviess County 4, Warren East 2
The Panthers (3-0) picked up a 4-2 home win against the Dragons. Brian Winkler had a hat trick for DCHS, and Jacob Boling also added a goal. Boling also had one assist, as did Declan Sandifer, Hayden Glover and Carson Thomas. Cody Clark and Kaya Suzer combined for two saves in goal.

Boys soccer — Henderson County 1, Apollo 0
The Eagles (2-2) lost on the road to the Colonels. Jacob Gillim had two shots on goal, while Jaelin Kirk and Sui Thang had one shot on goal each. John Zuberer had five saves in goal.

Volleyball — Apollo 3, Owensboro Catholic 0
The E-Gals (6-3) took down the Lady Aces (0-2) in straight sets (25-18, 25-14, 26-24). Leading the way for Apollo were Carlee Widmer (22 assists, 5 digs, 3 aces, 3 kills), Jenna McMillen (11 kills), Natalie Ewing (9 kills), Brylee Rhodes (5 aces, 3 kills, 3 blocks), Lindsey Hargitt (3 kills) and Taylor Blair (3 kills).
No stats were available for Owensboro Catholic.

Volleyball — Daviess County 3, Owensboro 0
The Lady Panthers (6-2) won a district matchup at Owensboro (2-8) in three sets (25-13, 25-17, 25-13). Kinsley Phelps led the Lady Panthers with 9 kills, and Hannah Axley had 8 aces.
Leading the Lady Devils were Krystell Pappas (5 aces, 6 assists, 5 digs) and Lainey Hayden (5 kills, 4 blocks).

Volleyball — Trinity 3, Ohio County 0
The Lady Raiders (6-2) won 3-0 (27-25, 25-17, 25-19) at home against Ohio County.
Leading the way for Trinity were Savannah Aull (11 kills, 8 assists, 2 blocks), Nina Wathen (9 kills, 8 assists), Jenna McDowel (3 kills, 3 blocks) and Morgan Kinsey (3 kills, 4 aces).

Girls golf — Owensboro Catholic
The Lady Aces won a dual match with Madisonville-North Hopkins at the Madisonville City Park Golf Course. OCHS shot a 190 to win by seven strokes.
Scoring for the Lady Aces were Emma Payne (40), Abby Bannick (44), Maddi Roberts (45) and RC Porter (61).

Girls golf — Apollo, Daviess County
The Lady Panthers shot a 194 to come out on top in a match with Apollo, who finished with a 205. Scoring for DCHS were Grace Heady (43), Addison Heady (49), Kristen Henderson (51) and Emilee Clark (51). For the E-Gals, Macey Brown was the overall medalist with a 40. Apollo also got scores from Briley Carter (43), Brooke Brown (50) and Mary Ann Lyons (72).
