Kentucky Wesleyan College released the 2018-19 regular season schedules for the men’s and women’s basketball teams Wednesday.
The women kick things off with a road trip to Evansville Oct. 28 before heading down to Nashville, Tenn., for a G-MAC G-MAC/GLVC Conference Challenge, where they will face Drury and Truman State on Nov. 9 and 10.
On the men’s side, the Panthers feature a couple of non-conference matchups when they host Bellarmine at the Owensboro Sportscenter Nov. 14 and travel to Lincoln Memorial Dec. 19. Both of those opponents have agreed to four-year contracts with KWC.
The men’s team will also host the annual Kentucky Wesleyan Thanksgiving Classic, set for Nov. 23 and 24 against Salem and Indiana University Southeast.
Both the men and women kick off conference play Dec. 1, hosting Trevecca Nazarene. Following that, the Panthers head to Ohio on Dec. 6 to battle conference newcomer Tiffin University.
Neither team will be on the road too long, and both have two-week long homestands that span the end of January and beginning of February.
Wesleyan’s final home games of the season are set for Feb. 21 and 23, when the Panthers host Davis & Elkins and Alderson Broaddus. They close the season on the road the following week at Hillsdale.
