“Yesterday in Sports” brings you the highlights from sports in Owensboro and Daviess County.
The 16th Annual Goodfellows Club Luke Woodward Classic tennis tournament took place Aug. 3-5. Owensboro Catholic boys golf played Monday in the Bruin Invitational at the Standard Country Club in Louisville, but results were not available.

The tournament began Friday and ran through Sunday, with the final results as follows:
