DCHS volleyball wins at home; Trinity, OHS fall

Daviess County picked up a win in their final home match, while Trinity was swept on the road and Owensboro lost at home.

Daviess County beats Hancock County 3-0 (25-16, 25-11, 25-12)
The Lady Panthers (13-8) got the sweep in their final home match of the year. Leading the team were Kendal Goetz (12 digs, 3 aces), Hannah Axley (10 assists), Kinsley Phelps (6 kills, 5 blocks) and Ashton Johnson (12 kills).

DCHS will play Friday and Saturday in the Quad State Tournament in McCracken County.

Grayson County beats Trinity 3-0 (25-12, 25-15, 25-19)
Trinity (20-7, 6-1 District 12) was swept on the road in their first loss of district play. They were ld by Savannah Aull (11 kills) and Nina Wathen (6 kills, 11 assists).

The Lady Raiders finish the season at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday with a home match against Owensboro.

Ohio County beats Owensboro 2-1 (25-11, 23-25, 25-13)
Owensboro (4-22) lost at home. No stats were available. The Lady Devils will play Friday and Saturday in the Quad State Tournament in McCracken County.
