Cross Country Regional race day guide

Cross country teams across the state will be racing Saturday for a spot in the state championships, which will be held Nov. 3 in Lexington.

Apollo, Daviess County and Owensboro will race at Yellow Creek Park in the Region 1 Class AAA meet, while Owensboro Catholic travels to Elizabethtown for the Region 2 Class A meet.

Check below for a guide to each race day. For both meets listed, the top six teams advance to state, and the top five individuals not on those teams will also move on. The state meet will be held at Kentucky Horse Park, with the first race beginning at 9:30 EST.
