Football season enters the final week of district play, and three local teams have important games as they fight for playoff positions.

Owensboro hosts Graves County for the Class 5A District 1 title. In the same district, Apollo faces Marshall County in a battle for the last playoff spot.

Daviess County plays Ohio County and is looking for a second win in Class 6A District 1.

Owensboro Catholic is on bye after rolling through Class 2A District 2 undefeated.
